Yama, the King of Hell, decides to retire in search of happiness. However, his plans for reincarnation are delayed when his successor, Harry, deserts his post to chase a mysterious goal in the human realm. With the help of the undertakers—humans who can harness the power of the Underworld—Yama strives to restore order and return everything to normal. Will Yama navigate the cycle of rebirth without faltering, or will the shadows of his past disrupt his journey? One thing is certain: there will be hell to pay.
The underworld has crumbled. In the desolate land where rivers of blood once flowed, clear water now runs, and the cauldron that once boiled souls has grown cold. The retired King of the Underworld, seeking his own happiness, aims to follow the path of reincarnation. Yet, due to the chaos in the Underworld and the disappearance of his successor, he cannot proceed on this path.
To become a god in the human world and to track down the missing successor, the King of the Underworld descends to Earth. But the human world is in turmoil due to the escape of souls from Hell, orchestrated by his successor's cunning plan. The King of the Underworld teams up with the 'Guardians of Life,' who protect humans, using the power of the Hell's ledger. Together, they struggle to capture his successor and restore the world to its original state. Will the King of the Underworld manage to safely walk the path of reincarnation?

I really don't like it the start is so fast and I don't like how the mc plays with his enemies I get PTSD from moments in other stuff where the mc gets distracted and then the enemy just dips the fight it's really annoying. (I gave it 19 chapters then dropped it, actually made my blood boil from just reading it the author is really good at getting it's readers mad ngl)
What would happen if Cheongmyeong (Return of the Mount Hua Sect) didn't reincarnate and became the ruler of the underworld.
Originality - 3/10 it was a standard fantasy world setting and the contents is nothing new.
Character development - 0.01/10 : just sucks
plot - 2/10 : needs a lot of work.
sword&magic(it is fantasy after all) - 0.000000000000000000000001/10 : words cannot describe the lameness and lack of creativity invested.
(Needing a chant for all magic is no different from reciting badly written poems, it's stupid)
Art - 6/10 : pretty good, but it cant' make up for what's been lost.
Overall - 1/10 : Just like many other fantasy mangas, lacking a a meaning, a coin without value, something with so much ruined potential.
This is just my personal opinion though, so, feel free to read the manga yourself and come up with your own thoughts and share your belief or disbelief in my rating.
