I really liked this at the beginning. Yeah it's another "regressed after being betrayed by his master" story but the art was unique and everyone including the side characters seemed smart so I thought it might be one of the rare good regression stories but as I kept reading it kept shedding away all the good parts and became another painfully cliche story.
The MC became just another edgy MC who loves wearing black all the time as much as he loves losing his intelligence whenever it is convenient for the plot. And the plot became infested with clichés (which apparently weren't even in the novel 🙃) that weren't needed or done well. Even the side characters who were interesting at the beginning started to fall into their cliche molds. The only thing that hasn't been lost yet is the art. It fits the tone of the story very well imo and I wish more manhwas would try new art styles like this.
Damn it man. This story's got me feeling some type of way, really almost cried. The fact that it's based on a true story with a much less happy ending, too...I don't mind taking a detour from the main story if it's gonna be like this.
