I HIGHLY recommend this manhwa for those of you who are tired of generic troupes and beta protagonists. Its unique cuz the mc dont play fair like most, he aint no goody two shoes degenerate, he do what he gotta do. He is blood thirsty, cunning, and ruthless with his methods. He aint let no one fck with him. Plus he got this sadistic side of him which I love omg omg. He is the embodiment of a badass mc
Its a very satisfying read, got my blood pumping due to his based character
This series' main catch is "having a crazy powerful ML that makes the readers excited and be in awe" in the veins of series like Kengan Ashura, Siegfield from Rosen Garten Saga.
However, I am not the biggest fan of how the fights are depicted. The drawing, while stellar, weren't enough to convince me that the fight is entertaining.
To me, a fun fight is when the stakes be evenly matched/balanced so the tension can be intense.
Like the match ups in Viral Hit.
But for this one, it feels one-sided, with the commentary not being existent, so it got boring to me.
Secondly, another element that the series gotta be fun is, other than fights, it should have something else to look forward. Be it comedy, overarching subplot, etc. So far it's just "let's make some money" which is plain and there isn't much stakes on that one. Like bro add some sense of urgency to your story like debts/crazy threats or some shit. If it wants to be crazy it should go max crazy.
Idk, I expected something more from the premise... so it became underwhelming to me.
But hey, the series is still fresh as far as this review goes (chapter 9), so it has a chance to get better in that respect. Nothing's set in stone yet. But for now I'll give it a tentative score of how fun it felt reading it.
she is actually nice one
