The story has the same usual story beats with a story about polar opposites finding they have more in common then they initially realized and falling for each other. It honestly started off strong but the author's unfortunately dragged out the "will the confess or won't they confess" arc way past being fun and into the realm of being tedious. Which is honestly a shame cause the relationship and character interactions up to that point felt genuine and real and I was excited to see how they would open up to each other and explore their relationship.
The biggest con of this manga for me personally is how the author continues to wield overused cliches and plot devices to undermine character development, emotions and personalities. Like the male MC went from being strong, pro active and center stage to passive, ignorant and a back ground character so the plot could be manipulated in a way where he swoops in and saves the day at the last moment. The female MC isn't treated any better she's constantly stripped of any independence and power so she can constantly be put in vulnerable positions to be saved when the authors finished dragging out an arc.
I wish the author would stop tearing them down and let the story be wat it's really good at, letting 2 flawed and distinct character fumble and grow from their own mistakes and experiences together as a couple.
i have been reading this for 4 years
and this manga hits all it's elements perfectly
it has a proper pacing
and the comedy, the action and the romances are done perfectly
and if you look at the art deeply you will realise the author is also a ero artist which is even more awesome
A very cute and funny story about the romance between an angel and devil/demon. It's quite sweet. Read up to chapter 30, what I could find in raws. I really enjoy their interactions, especially the facial expressions and how they gradually start loving eachother more and more despite the fact that they should be enemies. It's kind of a split of 50/50, I'm reading this 50% for the comedy and 50% for the romance.
I'd recommend this to anyone who are after those two things. Also, there are quite a few erotic expressions and drawings if that's your thing, it's nothing too overdone though.
Just go ahead and read 1-2 chapters and you'll probably know if you'll like this manga because the rest will keep a similar mood and comedy style as they gradually get more and more intimate with the exception for a serious scene or two which just lasts a short while(except for the one at around chapter 27-30 which is long and intense, I doubt there'll be more like that though).
