The pace is excruciatingly slow. Even at ch120 there is still nothing interesting. I was hoping for better plot/story when her brother arrived at ch97 (yes, it takes that long). But.... it continue the slow pace to just about farming, eating foods, stupid side characters love comedy, etc...

Its time for me to stop reading this. Good luck to you guys.
    2018-2024... sigh.

Better stop reading this soon after

Kanji and Christina get marriedand just pretend the story stops there.

    The

reunion between Chris and her brotherwas a highly anticipated event that ended up ruining the story for a lot of people, and it started a long and terrible arc that tanked the enjoyment value of the story, even worse than the painful! government interference dramaarc early in the story.

It has not yet recovered from that low as of c.119 where it has gone on hiatus.

She comes from another world, and does not understand any modern things, like i get that, but at one point she does not understand what a sink is, which is something i cross the line with, as sinks, specifically fossits were invented in the very early days.
I also dont like how she is instantly in love wigh mc,

    I dont like when

when the govemrent come over, they dont giver her any entertainemeny while she is being isolated, in fact they act cold towards her. I highly doubt that to be ever the case. If she missed mc, they would have eben able to provide a facetime device at the least, and if u try to argue "but what if they start sexting" then have a nurse on the side to keep an eye on her, they should also introduxlced her to things like games or shit, but nolong dtory short, the author is trying so hard to make the reader not like tha govemrent, which i dont believe would be accurate if this event had actually occured,

Never mind the author did what i wish had occured instead, thus my previous point should not be taken into account

Chapter 50 was very uneccessary, it like the author needed to fill a chapter with a conflict that would be easily resolved in the same chapter

Chapter 62 is by far the better chapter

    Chapter 82 is the best
The only positive is that the mc is not in isekai world but instead the femc is in the non isekai world

Overall, i really found this manga to be very mediocre, like not that memorable tbh and i did not feel like reading each chapter with enthusiasm as i knew the next chapter would be filled with the same generic side characters as the last, while the chapter 100s area does change up the side characters they also fall into their character stereotypes. Overall not that great a manga but better than most isekai slop

Trope breakdown: 50% farming / cooking foodstuffs, 30% fluffy romance, 20% fantasy / reverse isekai
Latest chapter at time of review: 86

I like it. The farming/cooking bits were informative and well-written but I can barely remember anything about them — they kinda just served as a relationship building mechanic in my eyes, since I'm mostly just here for the fluffy romance. On that note we get plenty of standard manga romcom tropes, but the story is not at all afraid to "progress" the main characters' relationship, which for me is a breath of fresh air compared to many manga that are perpetually spinning their wheels in "will they, won't they" mud.

The reverse isekai fantasy subplot is handled well. I actually wouldn't mind if the story focused on that a little more than it does. Sometimes we go many chapters without much of a window into what is going on in the world where the female main character came from, but what little we see is teasing towards something more significant happening later on in the story, so I really hope that goes somewhere.

It's your typical comfy laid back manga. There is a tiny scare in the middle where the gubment steps in and you think they're going to cut her open but it ends pretty quick.
I will say the progression is very very slow. 56 chapters in and the furtherest the "romance" gets is a head pat and a butt pushoff while riding a bike? But overall this is a very comfy work desu

This is basically a cooking manga with an arching-plot about a knight from an isekai, you get the classic dish of the chapter, mostly simple and traditional Japanese dishes with some general knowledge that most people know about. That's about 50% of the content, the rest is some small development of their relationship, very slice of life with the isekai twist. There is a more serious arching plot of how an immigrant from an isekai would be treated in modern society, like considering diseases they may carry from the isekai, if they are aliens or humans, if they could get citizenship and so on but it's done very sporadically and in a sort of touch and go fashion, I haven't read all that's been released yet, I find it kind of hard to believe that if she's proven to be "not from this earth" they would leave her alone.

Damn, this is actually fun. I cant believe I just came randomly across at this little gem. These type of isekai's are my favorites. Hope it gets animated one day.
