    They even have laser guns... the tech in this world I kinda all over the place, but at the same time... it makes a strange sense to me.

    Even if because of choujin powers technology advanced greatly it was in a skewed way, we know that weapons technology advanced by leaps and bounds because of Queem.

    And Yamaton clearly is one of the few states that has kept above a certain level of technology after so many quasi-apocalyptic events, they have access to smartphones and other commodities that other states don't seem to have... curious about what is the state of Antitisi's old country, after Zora's rampage there things nowadays could be difficult, or maybe they recovered, who knows.

    I do think that with how it is implied that every state has its hands already full just keeping things working in their own borders that country (I forgot the name) if it turned things around by its own merit, without much help.
