The two leads are simply fantastic - both are flawed characters in their own right (the FMC is very anxiety-prone, while the MMC is apathetic towards most things and is trudging through life without passion), but they have positive qualities as well. Their interactions and dynamic are of course often humorous, but there are deeper moments too.
Setting aside whether this is a 'romance' manga or not (it's currently unclear how things will develop as of chapter 35 in scanlations), there is a lot to learn from these characters that is relatable in terms of romance. I read some discourse that keyed me into this on reddit, but to paraphrase, I think the author is trying to tell a story about two people who are growing and improving themselves to be in a state in which they can love others, in a healthy way.
The chapters are often episodic, but there is continuity in that events and developments that happen in prior chapters frequently come back up/are referenced in later ones, which is refreshing to see. Add in to all that the author's fantastic artwork/drawing style, interesting side characters, and setting, and you've got a great manga.
I really love this tbh, although maybe the characterization is bit forced. But as a loner and single, seeing Noa and Rihito interaction is refreshing and fun (and not just because of fan-services). They really look good together, but Rihito is just not having any sexual interest in Noa, but being a loner, he somehow is capable of enduring Noa's constant hassle. Idk, this can go on forever as long as the author won't change Rihito's way of thinking, while Noa in the other hand may not mind that. Sometimes what you need for a relationship to work is for someone to just accept the other as they are.
This is not seinen.
If I were president of Japan, I would ban female authors from writing seinen/shounen manga.
I tried reading this since i see there's romance comedy but so far there is no romance at all, just pure friendship. It's about a woman close to her 30 appearing to be the most reliable worker from the perspective of her coworkers until the mc saw her crying and chugging beers on her work desk after his overtime work. The fmc (having no friends) befriended the mc but she has mood swings and kinda mentally unstable, chronically online on social media and clingy to the mc. On the other hand mc is a pretty apathetic guy so he's kind of whatever and don't care much whenever he hangs out with the fmc, ngl there are times i wanted to drop this manga because the fmc was kind of unbearable but i stuck with it. I'm hoping to see some romance development and maybe the fmc having some character development but i doubt it since this manga is pretty much centered on the fmc personality... at least the art is pretty nice.
TL;DR
Fmc with mentally unstable mood swings befriended the mc and just kind of hangs out? No romance so far as of 26 chapters, i honestly don't really recommend it if you're searching for romance (perhaps slice of life sure)
Its a good manga, but if you want me to summarize it, i can try
Asexual (?) Man bebfriends a semi mentelly unstable girl
If i had to described the female mc, i would say she is anxiety that is given a voice
Unironically a really good read, would recommend
If looking for romance, look elsewhere, i actually like stories where both gendera can be geeat friends
