tbh I would absolutely hate that. Why does every MC need to be 'royalty'?

I do like his magic abilities and Seras's abilities have interesting consequences (though in the context of the unsubtle sexual aggression of others, this could well be a setup for him to "white knight" and "defend" her "honour" rather than simply a synergistic pairing). The machinations of the corrupt goddess seem promising and I am interested to see how they have altered the course of the world from its "natural" state (as it does seem to be something she has changed rather than something that existed since the start). I wonder if there is another god involved that has been sidelined?

I love these little cross-references, we all know who first asked for a magic spear but even if we didn't it wouldn't wreck the story

How do you presume you will care or not... if you don't follow the story? Do you think it is a given that just because a character is the "main" one they are the only thing important for the story?

And more than anything... you presume that with this author? With Togashi Yoshiro, the man who loves to go on tangents, who has already concluded the "main" character story and has shown that the world he crafted... doesn't care if Gon is alive or not?
