    By all accounts the late emperor was a garbage of a man, there is no sugarcoating it, but he was too a pathetic man that was given too much power and allowed to run rampant with his "tastes", there are many more culprits in this situation besides him.

    I will say the empress dowager is a tough cookie, all she endured she kept an impressive strength of character... shame that such strength of character isn't something most kids would have so soon, and the other girls... well, she made sure that scumbag was very aware of what he did before kicking the bucket.

    I will need to scrub some details of this new chapter from my memory, because by god... is Shinji his spitting image, but I really don't want to correlate that trash with him more than needed.
