No, this game became "real", it's not "trapped in virtual-reality". You might think what's the difference? but the difference is there's no "NPCs" they're all REAL people, the second is there's no "beat the game to escape", the third is that injuries are actually very real and permanent, you can get stabbed millions of times in SAO but there's no permanent damage nor scarring once you go back to the real world as it's all virtual.

Everyone is a little turn off by that sudden time skip and I can definitely agree yeah it was sorta blindsiding BUT I do also feel like Luna has been shown to be untrustworthy or at least very sketchy them doing this wasn't too outlandish, I do wish though we at least fought 2 of the rules before Luna pulled out a "mangka getting pressured" no jutsu
