genderbenderbb2 Chapter 122

Well i cant write anything at all so i cant judge. But the enjoyment level with reading this got less and less as it progressed further.
I find the whole premise of a school whose administration (ie chairman and teachers other than MC) not giving a shit regarding the safety of children and rather want them to resort to violence unpleasant. The chairman is sadistically insane, the premise of the plot is insane. I know this wouldn't make a good story but why the hell don't the two MCs just change schools? Oh no, that'd be common sense and this manga has none of that.
Art style is not to my liking, too surrealist and frequently reminds me of Edvard Munch's "The Scream". Characters themselves vary from annoying (useless male MC) to infuriating (Chairman and his cronies.)
If you like surrealistic shit then go for it, if you prefer more conventional stuff then avoid like the plague.
Finished reading this.
Of course a lot of generic stuff (Who Gives a * if it is). But, what caught me and forced me to keep reading forward was the way characters developed obviously the author is smart.
Don't read my spoiler if you aren't near end of the story.
Female MC is really cute lol.
surprisingly good !! didn't know how to react when i saw the art at first but the more i see the more i fell in love ! I'm glad someone pick this up to do the translation ^^
and please don't read the review by superman89 below, it's really missleading. the male character is NOT weak at all. maybe he wants every MC to be like Naruto or Luffy.
Great little series of shounen-fighting/making nakama's type, with a substrate of destined lovers.
The character designs are fantastic, as is the way the art conveys the characters emotions, with heavy, erratic and interesting line-art.
The story is simple, and contains many of the tropes that have filled epics and romances since the invention of storytelling. But they're still charming and well utilized, and the story still feels fresh.
However it's the zany antics, yandere levels of obsession, ludicrous spit-takes and spectacular over-emoting that really compromise this series charm.
I'd also like to agree with KROMEangel's comment about the review three below me. It's so completely off base, one wonders if it may be just a troll. Particularly in regards to his demagogic rant against the rather admirable male protagonist. The reviewer doesn't actually seem to have read the story, instead skimming the first few chapters and projecting his own preconceptions and prejudices on to it. In any case take, it with a grain of salt.
All of the women in this series so far are all kinds of crazy yanderes who scare the hell of me, but at the same time, its quite cute and also feels kind of innocent when you see the interactions between both MCs. A good story worth investing some time in though I can't believe its gone on for 11+ volumes without anybody taking notice of it till now.
Don't listen to the sad excuse of a review below, it's so way-off point and misguided it can hardly be taken seriously.
While some of the character design takes a bit to get used to, they are more unique than you'd get from a typical template of characters. Several pages later on certainly tell a hidden, psychotic streak that the mangaka is loosely keeping under wraps.
As expected from a shounen, the main girl's enthusiasm is her main charm, and the cuteness that come along with it is there too. Considering the amount of volumes out compared to the scans, there certainly is more to expect. It's one to follow for the moment.
The summary should read...
"Negizawa Kamo once tearfully promised his weak childhood friend Kagyu Jubei that he would grow up to be a teacher who would not stand for bullying. Several years later, as a teacher, he meets Kagyu once more under...strange circumstances to say the least.
While Negizawa was training to become a great teacher, Kagyu (who, like most women, fell for Negizawa) polished her fists so that she could protect him when they met again.
Hilarity ensues as Negizawa strives to become the teacher he once dreamed of being and Kagyu protects his chastity from the numerous women who lust after his sweet behind."
As for the manga it's the typical weak in all traits glasses male character. The moment I seen the character's appearance I hit backspace. Came back and read two chapters than hit backspace again for good. His character made me want to punch the mangaka...
The girls were the only thing decent, but not good enough to override the idiot male lead...
Don't listen to KROMEangel because I guess only his/her opinion counts and anyone's else is considered stupid. Guess that proves that they enjoy mediocre and a weak male lead that bring nothing to the plot.
