Just binged this series.
Man this was better than I expected.
I went in expecting a series that shined with it's cute fluffiness and that's it. Like Not-Sew-Wicked Stepmom or Into the Light's opening (the latter of which I dropped).
Instead it very much has the cuteness. AND the cuteness is dialed up to 11, like it does it as well as any other series but also more frequently and it never gets boring.
AND there's an interesting and likeable cast and slice-of-life plot to go with the cuteness. Kind of like The Baengri Clan's Unwanted Granddaughter, though even that's more plot heavy than this one.
It also succeeds in hitting in the feels cos...well, she's only got 21 years to live and it takes a year to just be able to crawl and toddle (though her growth is accelerated slightly cos her bloodline is magical). And everyone around who loves her is aware of it, too.
This series is really sweet and I had a REALLY fun time. I very much recommend if you like cute.
Note: the fan TL randomly has a few chapters where there's clearly mistranslations and it's hard to follow a couple parts. Though most chapters aren't like that, I'm hoping for an official TL at some point.
There's 29 chapters of the manhwa out, that corresponds with about chapter 36 of the novels. There's 215 chapters of the novels. So assuming 173 manhwa chapters, that's at least 3 years, probably 4 with hiatuses...plus time for english licensed version...the novel is completely fan TLed I'm tempted to just read that 😛
