    Ok after rereading the final chapter it seems that God dies, Mugetsu begins a monotonous story that she says we don't get to see or understand, Junpei returns to his world with his powers with the old man. Junpei and Mugetsu are the 1st to clear the crack dungeon in history so because of retrovision and time fuckery the old man did not age much and was in the dungeon 1st and able to see the past (see time magic fuckery) which is also the future so old man came before Junpei and ran from monsters leaving the cards and watching what Junpei did through time vision for how to do both. the old man waited and opened the gate after Junpei to see what he was like and went to "earth" and was talking with Junpei. Now I think Junpei is ridding the world of despair like he suffered with his violence and then it just ends. I enjoyed the manga with more edge than fiberglass insulation and the spirit of Gainax running through it so I would recommend you read since I found a lot of enjoyment in it.
