It's okay to be weird

I suspect from your username that you're pretty young, so I'll explain. Iruma is being tested for his leaderships skill by the Kingmaker. Iruma is supposed to found a "nation", but not install himself as the "king" (hidden goal). To do this, he needs to come up with something that only the many-ears tribe can do without help from other high-rank demons. First, he thought simply teaching them typical demon skills would be enough, but it's not enough to affect the boomers' opinions on how they should live. Now it's looking like the many-ears may have a previously unknown magical trait unique to them for growing especially delicious produce. This would give them a monopoly on produce trade and a real choice for occupation, since it has nothing to do with their hearing abilities. This would be a boon for the black-eared many-ears who are seen as having no worth. Next chapter, we might see them working with other produce and whether other many-ears replicate it.
