it's honestly failed to invest me in it's cast (that's all probably gonna get brutally slaughtered), or reinvest me in Akame's story. the worldbuilding is nice, but this just seems unnecessary

I missed 5 chapters and after catching up it feels like it should've been 2 at most lol.

The plot is so original my monke brain can't guess what's coming. Who's good and who's not. They portray each character in a way everyone has a side hidden from others. It's like one of the established characters can just come out and say "I'm the phantasmal king. Just disguised"
