A 15-year-old girl is a newbie idol who harbors feelings for her best friend's brother, a popular idol. However, she encounters a intimidating yakuza man and learns her mother was once a magical girl, with the yakuza being her former mascot. Her love interest gets abducted by demons that resemble burly men with adorable squirrel heads. To rescue him, she makes a pact with the yakuza to transform into a magical girl, which in this story means she changes into a handsome guy wearing a magical girl outfit. Interestingly, her love interest seems drawn to her new magical male form.
Her best friend, who is also her love interest's sister, confesses her own feelings for her and later becomes a magical crossdressing guy to save her life. Their manager, an avid fan of magical girls, decides to turn them into an idol unit.
