You keep throwing out this "Laws and culture are inspired by religion and God" thesis like its obvious. Did religion invent language? Did it outline the barter systems? You believe religion can be divorced from the actions people take in its name if they're bad, but not if they're good, because, "most of them say to be decent people". That's insane. Actually try reading some of those books and THEN tell me that there aren't things that would directly lead to wars in them, especially the parts where they say every other religion is a crock of shit and you should practice absolutism in your faith. It's a terrible argument even if it were true because then it means people made many of the laws in spite of prevalent religion, not because of it. I won't deny religion is an important part of building a cultural identity but this idea that it generates all laws and culture is absurdist.
