Wholesome for sure, cuteness overload... However, and it's personal thought, i don't like when they do so much timeskip. Really happy for the "baton pass happiness" here, but... I don't know a thing about their daughter or her husband, i would have preferred to end with the original MC's wedding instead, not their child, as last chapter.

Still really wholesome manga whatsoever, i hope to see other stuff from author >_<

I assume at this point he has nothing to really lose. There's a small chance he gets his waifu back, but the way he acted on the carriage, he's also prepared to kill the bishop and go against the church if he thinks they're not being straight with him.
