Did...did kawaki forget why he has a murder boner for boruto? Because of the threat otsutsuki have on truly kind people like naruto. That's his entire reason for wanting to eradicate all otsutsuki.
You'd expect him to either:
1- see the ten tails as an even greater threat to naruto, since it LITERALLY killed naruto before
or 2- see them as ways to kill boruto even faster, since it's expected that they'll want to eat him eventually.
But no. He's just... trying to kill boruto. Not even thinking about the perfect opportunity he has. Just... murder.
