The lady that saves him, Senri was it, is also interesting. Perhaps she serves as a sort of Dr Watson to End's Holmes, at least for me. Much like we the audience, she wants to believe that humanity is valuable, whatever form it may take. We believe that End is still human because he thinks like one, despite multiple instances of dubious behaviour. She also believes in him and so the audience builds a connection with her. She parallels End in a way, with her early weak body, both being saved by a side in this greater conflict. Neither really fit in with the factions that adopted them and this all results in an sort of Romeo and Juliet encounter between them. I wonder if/how the romantic subplot will develop.

In a couple of years I think this will be big.
