I don't think he's planning on reaching to the top because of a certain spell/authority he was developing during his Future Scenes and it could be one that'll allow him to escape the Tutorial without completing it. That's how it was being interpreted at the time.
She's very calculative. That bow was her way to pressure him into saving her son from a death penality. The church want his sister (isekai) and prince heads which can be saved using the "new hero" pollitical power as the royality now has less influence.

the premise is stupid but it's aware how stupid it is and it manages to be fairly funny.
the art is pretty good. the main character isn't dense or stupid, one of the better "dumb hentai manga" MCs, although admittedly it's not a very high bar.
and most importantly, the girls are mad cute, Laksha especially. If you're even a little into yanderes or clingy girls with 100% loyalty then you'll like this. their expressions are also well drawn and add to both humor and cuteness. the amount of sex is also not excessive, so it actually has a plot that's moving forward.
