    He is a bit too heroic, righteous, and like the other comment said naive. But it's also because of the way his old world connection works: he is constantly connecting to everyone else around him to the point that the people he is close with (like his team) kind of become a part of him.
    It's also the reason he is always trying to save people, through that connection he can somewhat know the position of others and hear their call for help, since he can hear that since childhood it's no wonder he grew up to have a bit of a saviour complex.
