don't try to put down anyone's thing unless it harms other or is pedophilia. neither chocolate or vanilla is justice but a question of a characters perceived color, when pertaining to how it is part of the plot as a cursed slave, does sometimes matter. while I haven't read the LN I believe that creative liberties were taken since being a slave a perceived lesser value makes far more sense for he to get a top quality slave. also what's so wrong with brown I think she looks good as a character design and think it looks better than a white counter part for the current cover.
