if you read the overlord LN, you will get absolutely overwhelmed by the author literally explaining every detail even down to the low level summons of groups of undead and even to their appearance and movement. It completely violates the idea of "show, not tell", as it gives you no leeway to imagine anything by overexplanation. You can see the effects of the author's bad writing even through the anime. The animators had no leeway to make the fights look cool, as the author had specified too much about the trash mobs, which really made the storytelling fall flat.

Overexplanations should only be used occasionally, to build emphasis on the situation, and when used too often, will negate any form of emphasis throughout.

Really good manga the ending was weak but I wouldn't say it was bad it would've been better with another chapter or two it was realistic and I don't understand why people shit on eren so much a solid 8/10 probably a 9 if the ending was better but the rest was amazing
