"The crow doesn't choose the lord" is the second installment in Abe's Yagarasu novel series. It is a Japanese-style fantasy that portrays a struggle for power within the court, where conspiracies and assassins thrive in a world dominated by the Yatagaru clan rather than humans. Natsumi Matsuzaki, who was involved in the comic adaptation of the previous work "I'm not suitable for Karasu," also contributed to this project.
