The manga is based on Weizard's mobile phone novel of the same name.
The novel focuses on Asuka, a high school student who encounters the ghost of a deceased student named Haruka. Haruka asks Asuka to locate her body. As the story unfolds, Asuka and her friends endeavor to find the eight scattered pieces of Haruka's corpse within the school. They also uncover more about the Red Person hunting them.
The Red Person targets students who are alone at school, aiming to kill them. Until they leave the school grounds, the Red Person will continue to appear. When it kills a student, it disperses the student's body into eight pieces and assigns another person to find these pieces inside the school.
If Asuka fails to find Haruka's body, the day will repeat endlessly, and she and her friends will keep dying until they succeed.
