I'm at chapter 74, at what point does this stop being cliched surface level torture porn? Is the author going to stop writing out every single thought and emotion that encompasses the characters or we're not allowed to interpret anything by ourselves?

It's not an action anime, though; the slow pace does the story being told here justice, and anything too quick would really just kill the charm of the manga in an effort to get to some 'conclusion' when the story itself is ABOUT making movies. As far as the design goes, I personally found it really cute and charming, each character has their own feel and the facial expressions are on-point. It won't blow you away with details, but the designs work really work for the characters.

...i hope that the author conveys what they want to convey and dont extend it more by adding rivals i feel that there is not really that much content remaining unless you want to drop the quality of the work.

so overall to me its like a 7.5/10 so far with the posibility of becoming a 8/10 if author wraps it quickly and does not fall into some things other romance authors have fallen before in order to extend the duration if he does in could drop to a 7 or even worse depending if there is going to be idk... cheating, the couple randomly vanishing due insecurities (i think we are past that hopefully) annoying rivals, life situations like characters moving away, etc. just dont fall in the old cliches to extend it this will turn ok.
