Eh it's something different. I'm tired of the same mcs just basically plastered in every manhua. It's an "Isekai" about a narcissistic dude stuck inside a VR game. Also just say it's not your cup of tea lmao, talking like you're a judge of every manhua.

It's badly google translated, some even doesn't make any sense, but still easier to understand than looking at pictures with japanese words.

I felt this chapter, it was fun. But it has unnecessary exposition.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think there is a story that doesn't have exposition, it is simply impossible as exposition exists to explain things. But the author is putting too much of it, so when a character says something it feels contrived and it takes from the joy of waiting for new stuff.

If the author can dosage the information a bit better, they can make something out of this.

This makes me remember that Hori-sensei had this same problem in his last works, BHA has exposition but Hori-sensei now knows how to make it interesting, important, and compelling.

Its a good read, hopefully they add more. As of the typing of this comment, Chapter 4 released on 08/27/2020. (to give future readers insight into what I reviewed, it was the manga up to the 4th chapter). Anyways, its good, it moved a bit fast, and kinda left some details half explained, so as it is around a 3.5?(out of 5). its hard to rate something that feels like it just started. I'd say read it.

to be fair the metric point you are using for comparison is a man who literal cracked the problem that no reincarnate could while being smart enough to make a strong build using creativity, while the heroine in the story is in the lowest light since she was confronted by a whole pack of wolves and a giant armored centipede that looks stronger than 2 rhinos. given the fact the wolves, while made to be harmless in manga, are really scary to deal with alone, and when fighting a monster that was judged to be enough to kill you it makes sense why she is put into a defenseless role. but yes I do believe that we need more Tophs and Erzas in manga.
