Naw man that's just an estimate. It's guaranteed that bugs will invade the plan DURING those 1200 years not after. As when you can realistically expect them, unless the author is going to play it slowly it's either after our first big arc when bug scouts will arrive only to warn Alan their main fleet is arriving any time soon (Months or couple of years) or literally years later when it's clear that Alan's future kingdom has started to unite the world with some success.
Or they could pull the "the bugs are already here, chilling, preparing how to invade this world because they don't jack about magic", at any point of the story, only for Alan to actually wake them up and unleash an actual invasion.
