@dave The story didn’t decline at that point because it was basically concluded by the time the Gojo fight ended, save for Yuji’s, Yuta’s, and Megumi’s arcs, all of which had a satisfying conclusion. Most of the plot threads were fulfilled in some shape or form as well. Was it perfect? No. Obviously there were things that I would have also liked to see, like the merger and maybe more of the fight between  Hakari and Uraume. The final battle for the chapter was indeed rushed, no one is denying that I hope. But, as a whole, it fulfilled what it promised to do from the start, was true to its characters, and had something to say through its themes that didn’t come across as a half-assed platitude in the end. To me, that’s more important than any loose ends it may have. Stories can have loose ends and still be great, as long as they have the above mentioned qualities in their ending - look at Twin Peaks. So yeah, to me, it held its footing at the end, unlike MHA.
