In chapter 6 Sylph said that Kanna really loves stories with Tragic Heroine and Villainess in it that she act it out in real life. And on that same chapter Kanna said "if the Villain doesn't die, the protagonist or the hero doesn't feel safe and happy". That makes me wanted to theorize that Kanna actually switch body with Sylph before Sylph body is exiled (or perhaps even since she met her the first time in the library like stories of the prince and the pauper) so she can meet with the True Villain of the story "Monster of Dagenhelm" just to make sure that every "evil" is purged so she can be happy and feel safe. And on chapter 6 it's established that you can actually trick the King of Dagenhelm but not lie to him.
