The king had just avoided the prophecy in this chapter, and for a stand-up reason, respect to that... and this dumb bitch just condemned all of them all over again.

Now I feel bad for the king for having such a dumb fuck with the power of precognition as his adviser, because she isn't doing that for him... she is doing that to validate her own arrogance.

The royal guards' designs go HARD... if you put them in a SoulBorne game they wouldn't be out of place.

They just gave up in any sense of urgency when it comes to give this manga an anime and will be wasting time with boring movies. The manga took a break after the granolah arc to "think about the future". Wow, thinking about copying paste a movie must be hard.

In chapter 6 Sylph said that Kanna really loves stories with Tragic Heroine and Villainess in it that she act it out in real life. And on that same chapter Kanna said "if the Villain doesn't die, the protagonist or the hero doesn't feel safe and happy". That makes me wanted to theorize that Kanna actually switch body with Sylph before Sylph body is exiled (or perhaps even since she met her the first time in the library like stories of the prince and the pauper) so she can meet with the True Villain of the story "Monster of Dagenhelm" just to make sure that every "evil" is purged so she can be happy and feel safe. And on chapter 6 it's established that you can actually trick the King of Dagenhelm but not lie to him.

For the past 12 years I have been studying to be a scholar of japanese culture and history, so, for fellow readers of this manga I wanted to share a fun little fact. Similar to certain anglo-saxon admixtures- predominately those settled in the british isles and the north american plains (specifically Minnesota) and their regarding "Boiled Chicken" and "Things suspended in Gelatine" as potable, even tasty, foodstuffs- Japanese people are incapable of recognizing bears. In fact, Japanese people are only capable of recognizing those ursine species as "monsters" or "creatures" or "yokai". So, if you are not yourself japanese, you might find the depictions within this manga rather strange- the plot points somewhat odd- you might find yourself asking "Why has not a one of them called out the fact that these are obviously bears?" This fact should then hopefully assuage that bit of suspension of disbelief.
