So I actually avoided this one for a long time. I think the name put me off, but I read the synopsis and gave it a shot.

The name and synopsis are both absolute lies. No cheat powers? Dude's got cheat powers out the butt. Alone? Dude spends like 10 chapters by himself. The title and synopsis make this sound like he'll work his way to the top through legitimate hard work and skill simply because he has no other choice...yet early on he's many levels below his classmates and is far more skilled than any of them.

Sold me on a premise, didn't even deliver. Once he hooks up with his classmates it's pretty much just your average generic isekai from then on. Didn't hate it but I felt cheated.

That would make sense if there were a reason nobody cared about Deku afterwards, yet still fanboy over Bakugo and Todoroki. If there was this big shift off of idolizing heroes, then yes, the new society that doesn't worship Deku is exactly what multiple different factions were all striving for. But no, they still glaze other heroes anyway, but the supposedly biggest contributor, as well as the centerpiece in broadcasted media in-universe, gets nothing? Like people still care more about All Might than him, which, well, is understandable in many ways, but undermines the whole "extreme personalism bad" idea.

This is a really fun read.
