The protagonist, a temporary librarian, faces various forms of harassment and lives a life fraught with disasters. After a long day at work, she falls down a manhole and wakes up in a different world. She is captured and taken to the royal castle. Despite recognizing her as someone from another world, the people there kick her out, leaving her with nothing but the clothes on her back. While wandering alone, she encounters thugs who attack her. She is saved by a young man who shows no mercy in killing. There is a TL and R18 version.

Manga ver Kiyotaka expresses too much (which is bad cuz it strips Kiyo off of his original personality)
LN ver Kiyotaka is arguably in the middle (which is the best imo) (plus that's his original personality)
Conclusion: The manga is good for those who haven't read the LN. But if you've read the LN, I'm 100% sure that you're gonna get more hooked on this story (and prolly think that the manga is sh**). As advertised, the anime was just to promote LN, I'd just watch it if I were you. A remake of the anime is probably needed if they want to seriously make an adaptation for the LN. And that's what I'm hoping for :)
Anyway humor didn’t click with me, won’t be following
But it still fucking stupid and entertaining tho.
