    Man I'm so conflicted with this. On one hand the set up and rise of humanity against alien was so good, especially that last final fight. On the other hand, the actual conclusion always seems anti-climatic, which i guess at this point is hallmark of the author since all his series tries too hard for a pure sci-fi humanity survives ending (War of the Worlds style) despite setting up great action.

    Overall love the series, but the ending was felt disappointing with how it peters off.
