Just like how Arie's mom said the world will go on for eternity, in the last chapter, it was a prophecy for exactly that. The world is an endless cycle, it repeats itself. In the last scene you see the old man giving a little boy, both named Amihiko, a tin box. The glasses guy in the .1 chapter talking to the old man is also Amihiko. They are all Amihiko! He gave himself a tin box, and this will continue on forever just like the same events will continue on. Think on Arie's story how the little girl gets reincarnated but continues to get killed, Arie will also keep dying/get murdered. She never gets killed by the monster but the villagers - basically other people.
To understand the story you have to connect all the characters from the past to their future self and how they all connect together.
Ending was alright, not what i hoped. 9/10
he's probably going to be the key to take on piodon, because those blood vials remind me of "cloning" in a way, and... yeah.
What I actually love is that "inquisition" is not a skin an author is using (like many japanese authors use the catholic church) Toni Valente, as a french guy, has such a deep understanding of church propaganda and the power of the inquisition. it's amazing.
