2/2  Also, a lot of people were turned off by the fact that we went from a grand epic to an arc full of slice-of-life, and that's perfectly valid. The modern era had some good moments, but all in all it was just kinda boring and convoluted, especially now that all the characters we met throughout the manga are back. There's just too many characters and none of them get enough time to shine.

And fuck that lolicon character. I can't believe they tried to make him a sympathetic character.

I'll keep reading cause I'm already deep into TyE and because I feel nostalgia for the times when it was actually good, but right now it's pretty meh.
