I Will Fall With the Emperor

This is MY kind of story. The female lead is absolutely ruthless and I love that. Sometimes I want to scream because I love this manhwa so much. Read chapter 0 to 107 all in the span of 24 hours because that’s how good it is.

To me this is prolly the coolest FL ever 😀
Regresses back in time after betrayal of her own kingdom..marries the same guy whos dungeon he died last time.. and helps him destroy her own kingdom and many more. She is just so awesome and sexy 😀 he and the emperor are a perfect mach...and the way she just destroys the concubines... deem.. just all around power house of an fl.
Romance is a slow burn here tho. 100 ch in and its starting to show sign even tho they all ready have spent few nights 😉 ..but tbh..its a rare case when i dont even care 😀 Watching her help emperor destroy countries etc with her past life knowledge and the wy she is..thats just pure happiness in its own way for me ..so im fine with waiting 😀

i don’t get why we’re hating on this one: it’s a generic premise grimdarkified well. a villainess who is actually villainous for once, we stan.

Rebuttal against misinformation: FL did not dye her hair blonde. She was blonde to begin with. Her family forced her to dye it black to ostracize her and make her into their scapegoat. So, read this story and make up your own opinions.

Although I will stand by this fact: ML is unrecyclable trash. Calling Whole Man Toxic Waste Disposal team!

One day I'll find a manga/manhwa/manhua where the Empress, queens and concubines/harem are supporting each other. They develop respect towards one another, and more importantly of themselves, so much so that they banded together to oust and/or castrate the Emperor. (Of course, they have to fight it out a little bit to figure what each other's deal is but it's never about "getting" one particular man.) They then go on to live their lives, individually or in their own little groups, like the absolute realest girl bosses that they are, and/or crown a different living sex toy they are all comfortable with sharing if it's Ride Or Die for the entire lot of them. OR they crown one of their own to become Empress.

Alas, this is not that day nor manhwa.

Personally, I can't tell if the FL is "Girl Boss" power tripping her way through her regression or if the translation is mangled enough to make it seem that way. And English is my second language. If I can see the glaring grammar errors I seriously pity native English speakers.

Looootta rape scenes in this one. The FL, who is a war criminal, returns to the past and decides to use her second chance and burn-people-alive magic to defeat her fellow wives/political hostages in a gory, bachelorette-style competition to win the love of the k-pop-looking serial killer ML who ordered her imprisoned, tortured, mutilated, and gang raped in her previous life. I just made it sound horrible but maybe potentially interesting, but it’s not even. Pure trash.

Girl took the phrase gaslight, gatekeep, girlboss a bit too seriously....
The pacing of this manhwa is just... A complete mess, and the story gives the vibe of an edgy 13 year old writing her power fantasy. The FL dies a complete pushover then instantly becomes an OP villainess in her second life in 0.5 seconds. The art is decent on the surface but actually pretty bad. The Emperor ML is also unrecyclable trash.
And she dyed her cool black hair blonde like 10 chapters in (whyyyy😕).
Needless to say this manhwa has problems and I dropped it pretty fast.
Edit: So apparently the FLs hair was originally blonde - I just read a really terrible translation. This series still is very much not my cup of tea and I'm not sure my opinion would change with a better translation.

The art is beautiful and I really enjoy the MC's antics. At the current reading point (ch34) it is yet to be explained why the love interest keeps letting the MC get away with being as destructive as she is, but I welcome a crazy meets crazy pairing any day.
I think what I enjoy the most about this particular series is that the reincarnated MC isn't a crutch and purely using past knowledge to get a leg up after reincaranation. It is the all out cold and calculating personality she has that messes with the other character's expected reactions that has helped her get a leg up on the servants, nobles, and royal court. I hope once she runs out of the ten years of knowledge she does have that she can continue to play her cards well and the author doesn't make her a Mary Sue.

The FL has a complete character shift since reincarnation to Girl Boss her way about and the ML is a typical uninteresting tyrant, which detracts from the FL.
