Pausing after season 1. I actually really like the complicated history between the emperor & the duchess and am looking forward to how it progresses/resolves. Her "excellent customer service skills" became a tad annoying after awhile if only because it was usually meant to be comic relief, but it tended to go too far or too out of character for the situation. I also do not like the potential second ML... his character feels like he's just there to be in the first MLs way.
the art is nice! i was just expecting something different because of the relationship between MC and love interest and it's following expected tropes too much for my liking
