This is surprisingly good. I recommend. Having the whole "Hero vs Demon King" conflict be televised, or really live streamed, is an interesting twist, which works to remove the heavier themes that a world at war would entail. It also removes quite a lot of tension in the action, since there are basically no real consequences, but this opens up the possibility for some interesting character work. We don't have much of that yet, but I sense a lot of potential in the rivalry between the Hero and our MC. Currently it's a pretty wholesome friendship, however the hero is already showing some cracks in the mask. I am really hoping that their fighting on opposite sides will spark some powerful shifts in both of their characters. How will the hero react to his first loss coming at the hands of his friend, the one who taught him that "a hero never loses". I'm really curious as to how the story will move forward!
