Or for the more crude viewers... Angry S** at it's best. XD
Thorfinn's going to die blocking a spear for Einar while breaking Einar's axe with his bare fist, and it'll be all dramatic as the native americans look on, he'll go over while bleeding out to give a speech in exchange for peaceful departure, and then collapse and die on the ship. Einar will go back to Ketil's farm and henceforth be a husk like Ketil. Hild will go to iceland and become a lesbian lady of many cats. Gudrid will sail around with Leif and raise the baby on the sea. Canute will go on to do what he does in history. Christianity will put an end to the nordic pirate culture of killing, raping, & pillaging for a time. It will be another 5 centuries before nordic pirate culture makes a return during the age of exploration, and again during late modern period with gunboat diplomacy, and then again with the 20th century dollar hegemony and globalization.
Look forward to a new series by Yukimura this Fall!
