It seems the story is taking the approach to god and other divine beings as entities that dont actually intervene in human affairs directly unlike demons and just gave power to their believers, we dont know if thats because they dont want to or just cant... We know for a fact that those exist because they have being mentioned multiple times by the demons themselves.

The weird thing is that Mr. Priest have this much power while being engulfed in the sin of rage, even when we knew from past chapters that he was actually weakening little by little because he was beginning to distance himself from his teachings due to Imuri´s influence and his most recent emotions.

Even if you have zero interest in medical stuff you should still read this.
