The island nation of Alistria is torn apart by civil war. The Waldron family, consisting of a father, mother, and young daughter, run an arms shop in the midst of this chaos. However, a brutal military scheme leaves the father dead, the daughter abducted, and the mother, Sophia Waldron, severely beaten and missing her left eye. But Sophia is no ordinary grieving mother or mourning widow.
