Hwajin Na's teaching methods are surprisingly forceful for someone in the Ministry of Education. Yet, when conventional punishments fail to deter even the most persistent school bullies, there is no better person suited for the task. Sometimes, a proper education can only begin once these bullies have been properly dealt with.

Shame ... despite the controversy, i think why people got so bent out was coz of the truth of the matter.. even the author said it was basically watered down truth..that he/she had hard difficulties even writing this. This manhwa was amazing in showing emotions of victims and perpetrators. This for sure should be continued, despite some dipshits on the internet voicing theyre pointless opinions. They're most likely people like the perpetrators in the manhwa, one way or another.I'm sure there ware many reading this on the receiving end of being bullied and found some solace there..Some glimmer of hope that things can turn around. Even tho this organization is fictional. So stop going around posting ur idiotic comments and voicing ur ideas of this being a bad read. it shines light on some of the darkest moments for some people. And here you are, telling people its garbage ... you should be ashamed of ur self.I recommend this whole hardily to anyone. You might not agree with all but remember.. this person writing this is NOT a professional in this field and goes just from hard research and news. You think its easy to research home violence, rope, bullying etc ? Think before you post.
April 25, 2023: I like how the story does not just exclusively involve teachers, but also any setting that harms the welfare of children. Can't wait for Season 2 for the real deal!
September 30, 2023: Unfortunately, the series was taken down after the "racist" issue on the recent chapters. I'm guessing this would be goodbye.
It was good while it lasted.
This remind me of Great Teacher Onizuka
Deleting my previous review as a few arcs had me reeling, and I can't in good faith recommend this. There's one arc where gender equality is compared to an brainwashing cult (there is an actual cult arc later, so the similarities are very stark) and it's done really badly, turning all the women involved into aggressive man-haters. Considering South Korea's current issue of misogyny and anti-feminism, this felt so gross. There's also an arc tackling mixed-race heritage and racism in South Korea, but like... it's so insane that it will sound fake no matter how I explain it. The Black-heritage kids are drawn so unsympathetically and minstrel-like, and they have the n-slur thrown at them repeatedly by the white-heritage kids. It's "justified" because they're the bullies, apparently. Seriously, what the hell. Webtoon have quite rightly taken this series off their service.
You're not reading this for a moral high-ground, or a violence begets violence story (yet at least). As of ch. 17, it's just shitty people getting dunked on by slightly less shitty people, and it's bloody enjoyable.
It's obviously gonna be formulaic, so I'm interested at what curveballs are thrown to keep everything fresh.
