I love the new protagonist and deuteragonist. For some reason I find those boys more relatable than Kei or Katou.
In the time of the Tokugawa Shogun, there was a lone wolf and his cub... Wait, no, this isn't that kind of manga. But Gantz is back to the shogunate epoch, how come? How is that possible?! Dang, who cares?! There are hot chicks and monsters to kill... more of the same, but they know we are easy prey to catch, just use the old baits.
I've read until c20.
The first battle has concluded at c19 and to be honest, it's beyond lacklustre.
Not to give spoilers, but the boss fight was horrifyingly lame.
I just check this out as i just recently discovered thus like 20mins ago... It piqued my interest coz I saw "Oku Hiroya" as the author.. I really like Gantz (upto 1st Phase, didn't really like the 2nd Phase, also that other sequel)... Saw the art style, I'd say Oku is also the same artist who draw it... I checked Jin Kagetsu's Zeus No Te, and I'll probably guess Kagetsu is Oku's apprentice/assistant as the way his background are drawn, are very similar to Oku's, but the character design of both Oku and Kagetsu are very distinct... And I'd say this artist right here is Oku... I'm just guessing he probably did the rough drafts then have Kagetsu finished or polish the final product... That's what I think... So far, I'm liking the chapters i've read, its interesting... But rating wise, I only gave it 5 as of the moment as its still to early to tell how good this is... Will update sooner or later once the story has progress more...
Only 5 chapters in and i can definitely say its going to be good. The art is very beautiful.
