    I can see why people see the ending is bad but it's untrue, the ending is perfect. Saturo never had any romantic feelings for Kayo, he wanted to protect her. Even Saturo's mom and Kenya knew that Saturo did not find a romantic interest in Kayo but he wanted to save and protect her. A lot people think Satoru loves her even tho its not true he said it himself when explaining to Kenya that he didn't love her rather she was on his mind. The blushing they had is normal i mena they're opposite sex.
