Gumiho Yeon, who holds a deep disdain for humans, inadvertently escapes an accident with the unexpected help of Dong-i, a human. At its core, a nine-tailed fox is bound by a code to repay any favor it receives. Yeon begins visiting Dong-i daily for Bo-eun, yet Dong-i finds this routine increasingly burdensome.
