Making quick work of fodder characters is hardly something I'd consider a threat. Alt futures don't matter. A bullshit plot device that doesn't actually have the villains actions have lasting consequences. It's embarrassing that you think either of these things invalidate the fact that the series has consistently undermined its villains.
Maybe establish that some of them don't want to absorb more and come to love the planet they're on.
What I really dig about Jojo's Part 69: Two Blue Vortex Requiem is the potential. And not because of power scaling or levels.
There is so much possible conflict and character drama which could turn out as great as early Naruto. Coupled with the improved aesthetics.
So far I'm totally fine with where it is going.
(Eiida realizing that she was the catalyst for Boruto becoming fucking edgy and cool and jumping ship will be hilarious)
