Do Chokkyuu Kareshi x Kanojo

Pretty entertaining. Would be nice if the source of his power was better explained.

This was surprisingly good and well-written. In most manhwas with a similar setting, where the player talks about how difficult the game is, it usually takes him 3 days and a bit of luck to break the mechanics and become OP. Not so much here. The main character really struggles for everything he earns. And he is always one bad decision away from death.
One thing I especially liked was how dungeon diving is treated. In other settings players with ill intent are treated as a minor threat, encountered once, beaten and that's it. Here though? Even sleeping is treated as an existential threat as you leave yourself exposed to whoever it is you're trusting, such that people are far more dangerous than any monster you could possibly encounter.
My only regret is that they don't elaborate on the state of the world beyond "Witch curse, last city, have to dungeon dive for money and food". I'm hoping this changes in the future.
A solid 9/10 read. Definitely recommend it.

how is that it? they set up some plot line with some major characters and then ended the story right after. what was up with the chick stirring up things with the city. what was going on with the other big guys in the meeting she was in.

Not going to lie, very very unsatisfying ending. Really disappointed but it was fun while it lasted. Hopefully there's a new series in the works soon.
