    To be fair though, Cien did leave without saying a word.

    communication is key people. say whats on your mind to your significant other. Claude did not deserve getting ghosted when all he said that he did not want kids and then Cien just went fk all and left.

    it couldve gone like:

    Cien: Do you want kids?
    Claude: No
    Cien: too bad, youre a dad now.

    and now hating on Claude would be ok if he decided to be a jerk about it and wanted Cien to get an abortion or something.

    even in the past life, Cien just stayed quiet, she did not voice her opinion of not wanting to marry the prince. She's a Duke's Daughter ffs. she can have power in her words (for example, the MC in Villainess Reverses the Hourglass) she did not consult anyone about aborting her child in the past life either.

    so yeah, Cien had hurt Claude more.
