    The only reason this got as much hate as it did is because it got shilled to hell and back by anime YouTubers and influencers claiming it was gonna be the next best shonen or "the new demon slayer" (this one in particular made me laugh). This is the problem with hyping up new series. Because when they disappoint, their sales numbers are gonna plummet and popularity is gonna suffer. This manga had clear pacing flaws, a lackluster story, and it felt like the author was just making shit up as he went. Moral of the story: Avoid hype trains and approach each new series like it's gonna get axed soon (because there's a good chance it will).
